CTR Group is seeking a BUYER at a Government site in the Williamsburg, VA, area. Immediate opening and urgently hiring!
Pay Range: $26.33 - $31.42 per Hour plus Benefits.
A temporary position for 6 - 10 weeks.
SUMMARY:
Seeking a Buyer with analytical skills, using efficient and accurate system for creating open purchase orders, ensuring that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders and report any back-ordered or missing products, using the information gathered to make decisions on behalf of the company in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Will work with multiple vendors to determine the best for the company, and evaluate the many pros and cons of each order based on price, quality, speed of delivery and other factors.
Will also review invoices for accuracy, resolve and/or dispute inaccurate information to ensure proper accounting and record keeping, review incoming material as needed, resolve material issues, and review certifications to ensure they meet requirements per the purchase order.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4 years of Government Purchasing experience OR 2 years of college education and 2 years of Government Purchasing experience
- The Buyer should have a comprehensive understanding of MS Excel, MS Word
- MS Word and Excel proficiency
- Knowledge of industry standard purchase order software platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics NAV and government purchasing procedures.
- Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Deltek preferred but not required
