CTR Group is seeking an experienced Administrative professional for and Administrative Assistant position in Chesapeake, VA.



Part time Contract to Hire with possibility of going Full Time



Description:

Assist with normal administrative office support; assist with part orders to include receiving & maintaining active inventory; complete task parts pack-out, coordinate freight shipments.



Responsibilities:

  • Organize, scan, upload, and file task associated paperwork.



  • Print and prepare task related sign-off packets.



  • Provide office support as needed according to workload.



  • Assist in maintaining office and office supplies in a cost-conscious manner.



  • Contact OEM and distributors via telephone, or e-mail to obtain availability and prices of needed equipment, parts, or materials to maintain inventory levels.



  • Reconcile incoming orders against purchase orders and/or requisitions



  • Receive and fill orders; issue equipment, parts, and supplies.



  • Update computer generated inventories and documents



  • Coordinate & communicate with install teams and shipping agents to ensure task schedules are met in regards to parts & materials required per task.





Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience



  • Must have strong proven administrative skills and abilities



  • Previous experience with inventory management



  • Forklift operator skills a plus



  • Ability to lift, push, pull 40lbs



  • Clean criminal background, DBIDS eligible
