CTR Group is seeking a Flow Technician/Soldering Technician. Immediate openings and urgently hiring!

$17-17.50 Hourly. 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble electronic and electro‑mechanical units such as power supplies, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, PC boards, and related subassemblies.
  • Perform soldering and de‑soldering of through‑hole and surface‑mount (SMT) components.
  • Install and remove discrete components (transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, inductors, etc.) on printed circuit assemblies (PCAs) using soldering iron and/or hot‑air tools.
  • Follow production drawings, sample assemblies, verbal instructions, and established workmanship standards.
  • Interpret electromechanical schematics, work instructions, and bills of material to determine required parts and assembly steps.
  • Read wiring diagrams and select appropriate electronic components.
  • Mount components onto chassis panels using hand tools, soldering equipment, meters, and basic test instruments.
  • Connect lead wires, route wiring, and terminate connections to components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
  • Position and align parts using jigs, fixtures, or other holding devices.
  • Join or secure parts using crimping, staking, bolting, riveting, welding, soldering, cementing, or press‑fit techniques.
  • Use hand and small power tools to place components on boards, cables, and connectors; perform basic inspections and tests.
  • Perform additional assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color‑coding.
  • Trim or adjust components to meet electrical or dimensional specifications.
  • Conduct hand soldering and microscope‑assisted soldering/inspection when required.
  • Perform go/no‑go testing and in‑process inspections to ensure compliance with production standards.
  • Troubleshoot, rework, and repair defective units.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of flammable and hazardous chemicals.
  • Complete required production records, logs, and documentation.
