CTR Group is seeking a Corporate Benefits Coordinator for a prominent Auto Dealership in the Newport News, VA area. Immediate opening and urgently hiring!
Pay Range: $23 - $25 per hour and Benefits
SUMMARY:
Plan and direct implementation and administration of benefit programs designed to insure employees against loss of income due to illness, injury, layoff, or retirement. Administer benefits for 8 dealership locations, 600 employees.
- Plan and direct employee benefits for Open Enrollment.
- Schedule and direct yearly Open Enrollment meetings for all employees and monthly New Hire Enrollment meetings for newly eligible employees.
- Input all new benefits deductions for open enrollment into ERA for 600 full-time employees. Audit and make sure the correct deductions are entered into ERA and Employee Navigator.
- Evaluate services, coverage, and options available through insurance and investment companies to determine programs best meeting needs of organization.
- Prepare and distribute information to inform employees of benefits program and special employer sponsored activities.
- Enroll all eligible new employees in benefit plans and 401K plan. Terminate separated employees from benefit plans and 401K plan. Sending appropriate termination process letters to employees.
- Liaison between all company benefit vendors.
- Process all 401K loan requests, distributions, and contributions.
- Prepare and submit 401K yearly census.
- Prepare executives yearly benefits deductions spreadsheet for tax filing.
- Coordinate audit request for 401K queries, Form 5500 filing, and ACA requirements.
- Submit accurate information and file ACA 1095-C Forms Audit.
- Answer queries regarding benefits and retirement plan.
- Assist family members of deceased employees with life insurance claims. Obtaining correct documentations and maintaining accurate submissions to Insurance carriers.
- Conduct Audits of Employee Navigator for Benefits Insurance representatives.
- Enter separations into ERA & Employee Navigator and send email notification to appropriate individuals.
- Coordination of COBRA Benefits for all termed employees including posting of received COBRA payments.
- Ensure compliance with ACA including tracking requirements.
- Scan monthly bills, executive benefits folders, and other benefit documents. Upload to hard-drive, then upload to Docuware software under corresponding file location.
- Administer FMLA including designation notice, notice of rights and responsibilities, determining eligibility, tracking leave, and exhaustion notices.
- Administer short-term disability (process paperwork and approval and provide Payroll with weekly check amounts). Assist employees with the transfer to long-term disability.
- Reconcile and process the following bills monthly: NADA, One Life Fitness, Legal Resources, critical illness, accident, YMCA, health, dental, vision, HealthJoy, disability, and life insurance. Set-up reviews and verify deductions for all bills. Post all flex payments and reconcile monthly.
- Prepares monthly journal entry for employee benefits and maintain Excel worksheet of each employee and their benefits in a timely manner.
- Pay and reconcile all executive benefits each month in a timely matter.
- Process Armada Care claims and prescription benefits for executives.
- Reconcile and audit all schedule summaries for benefits every month.
- Transfer all Health Savings Account payments.
- Stay up to date on benefits best practices including laws and regulations governing employee, and benefits through seminars, webinars and other continuing professional education.
- Administer company employee benefits and associated monthly billing, Family and Medical Leave Act, and Affordable Care Act tracking.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) from four-year College or university; or four to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community Ability to effectively present information to executives, management and various employees groups.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages.
Prior Benefits Administration experience in an automotive dealership would be a plus.
