CTR Group is seeking a Controls Engineer for a Manufacturer of Heavy Machinery in the Providence, RI area. This is a Junior-Level Controls Engineer position.

SUMMARY:
The industry is heavy machinery, automation, and you will be conducting technical assistance, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
You will eventually support our client with automation and commissioning of Company designed and manufactured heavy machinery. Support our customers during the daily activities of production with the machines to offer continuous improvements. Implement improvements and fixes to the existing software. Maintain regular contact with technical support team located at the head office to receive support and provide updates.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree or similar level of experience,
- 1-5 (very maximum) years’ experience,
- PLC programming mandatory,
- Experience in the industrial sector,
- On-site/field oriented/within manufacturing facilities,
- Nice-to-have: Mobile Equipment Operator Certification (but not mandatory).
