CTR Group is seeking a Cost Estimating Analyst to support our Ship Repair Client in San Diego, CA.
Several Temp-Hire Positions available!
Pay Rates: $24 - $30 per Hour.

Candidates can come from any Navy Ship Repair Background.
Positions are open to considering candidates from various Navy Ship Maintenance / Repair roles, electricians, pipefitters, shipfitters, welders, and outside machinists. Applicants should be at a journeyman level, comfortable working in an office environment with computer proficiency, and possess strong communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the Navy.

Large Ship Repair company  is currently in search of an experienced Cost Estimating Analyst 1 to help support their operations. The Cost Estimating Analyst 1 is responsible for the development of the bill of materials utilizing work item specifications, reference drawings and technical manuals as required. The Cost Estimating Analyst 1 compiles data by utilizing applicable company software and/or input provided by the Estimating Supervisor, as directed. This individual also analyzes the data and informs the Estimating Supervisor of any potential issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship is required
  • The ability to acquire a DBIDS credential is required
  • Must have a minimum of one year of relevant experience 
  • Ability to read and interpret Specifications, Drawings and Technical manuals to research and develop accurate bill of materials
