Responsible for all areas of customer service as it pertains to research and resolution of multiple incoming patient or customer service related requests via telephone or other means of communication. Responsible for operational tasks associated with revenue cycle accounts receivable to provide one call resolution, to include effectively addressing eligibility, claim and payment issues. Additionally works corresponded, updates information, audits accounts, sets up payment plans, takes payments, summarizes and documents calls or inquiry requests and resolution - 3 years of billing experience required.
This assignment will take place in a facility that does not provide patient care. ProProvide accurate plan benefit education and resolution of questions or concerns for telephone calls and email inquiries from members and providers. Provide comprehensive and timely follow through on calls requiring additional action. Work closely with the claims, appeals, provider relations, finance, client services and care management departments to resolve customer issues as appropriate. Maintain professional a customer oriented service both verbal and written communications. Develop skills to answer inquiries in a professional manner (appropriate grammar, courteous tone, control of call, etc.). Provide accurate plan benefit education and resolution of questions or concerns for telephone calls and email inquiries from members and providers.
