CTR Group is seeking experienced Senior Marine Designers in Portsmouth, Virginia area for a long-term government project!
- Under direct supervision, you will independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications
- Assist in the design of larger and more complex assignments which involve conventional types of plans, investigations and surveys with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents
- Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations
- Responsible for design, specification and services related to systems and layout
- Complete designs of assigned projects to including the design reviews
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 20 years' experience in systems (function, operation, design)
- Experience in Ship Selected records
- Prior experience in Mechanical Systems, Piping Systems, or Naval Architecture.
- Must be able to obtain a clearance
