SKILLS:
Supply Chain Management, Management / Supervision, International Purchasing, Raw Material, Distribution, Manufacturing Processes, Plastics or Electrical Industry Experience.
SUMMARY:
This position is located at the Corporate Office of our Manufacturing Client in the St. Louis Area. We are looking for someone with ten plus years of successful procurement / supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree.
- Must have knowledge of sound procurement practices of raw material, distribution, and manufacturing processes.
- Must be familiar with principles of transportation and have knowledge of forecasting.
- Must also have the ability to analyze data and financial information.
- Ideal candidate will have international purchasing experience.
- Ideal candidate will have supplied material for multiple plants.
- Electrical and/or plastics experience would be a plus.
- Ability to manage people, build teams, and communicate effectively.
