CTR Group is seeking a Domestic Sales Manager to develop new accounts and expanding exisiIng account within an established area.

JOB FUNCTIONS:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (other duties may be assigned):
Sales:
  • Manages the development, implementation, and management of a sales strategy plan for a territory or product to comply with the company’s sales goals and profitability.
  • Participates in direct sales activities and is responsible for meeting order objectives.
  • Provides direct goals and objectives for the technical sales or marketing staff in compliance with fiscal goals for territory or product.
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist in promoting sales.
  • Performs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
  • Recommends product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
  • May represent company at trade association meetings to promote product.
  • Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
  • Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.

REQUIREMENTS:
  •  Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a related field and 2-5 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Mathematical Skills:   Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP Software.
  • Follows all import/export requirements, consulting with facility import/export personnel as required.
  • Must be a U.S. Person for access to ITAR-Controlled Technical Data.
  • Ability to travel (domestically/internationally)

 Preferred Skills/Experience:
  1. Basic Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100 preferred
  2. Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/6 Sigma/Kaizen
  3. Knowledge of specific software (design, analysis, ERP…) preferred
