CTR Group is seeking an Electrical CAD Engineer for an exciting opportunity with a Manufacturer in the Renewable Energy in the Newport News, VA area.
SUMMARY:
The Electrical CAD Engineer would need to have the understanding and ability to design electrical control panels and instrumentation equipment. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to design electrical controls from written specification
- Ability to design controls based on the quoted scope of supply for the projects
- Assemble and provide submittal packages with all proper drawings and documentation
- (Optional) Assemble and provide Operations and Maintenance manuals for equipment to submit to customers
- Support the manufacturing team by providing answers to technical questions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical
- Self-manage workflow for on-time project completion
- Ability to multi-task across multiple projects
- Supportive team player
