CTR Group is seeking an Electrical Technician for our client in Somerset, MA. Immediate openings and urgently hiring!

Pay: $29-$33 PLUS per diem for non-local

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Some metal work is required for foundations of distribution panels, wire hanger systems, lighting, switches, and receptacles.
- Pulling of wire for AC and DC electrical equipment.
- Install and wire switches, lighting, receptacles, distribution panels, motors, motor controllers, switchboards, transformers, and connection boxes.
- Installing DC power systems, distribution panels, motors, battery switches, chargers, electronics, relays, and cameras.
- Working with voltages from 12 to 24 volts DC, and 120 to 480 volts AC.
- Working in an industrial environment using overhead cranes, ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts, and working at heights.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Have the ability to troubleshoot system problems and provide creative solutions.
- Knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems.
- Keen attention to detail and quality driven.
- Knowledge of power and hand tools.
- Candidate must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry and transport equipment and boxes up to 50 pounds.
- Able to work on and climb ladders, bend, stoop, crawl and work aboard ships both in the shipyard and on the water.
- Ability to work under industrial conditions and in confined spaces.
- Must be capable of wearing all required personal protective equipment and work in a noisy and physically demanding environment.
