CTR Group is seeking an Engineering Manager for our Manufacturing client in Hampton, VA Immediate openings and urgently hiring!

SUMMARY:
You will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of engineers in the development and creation of solutions to technical problems in the design and building of machinery and tooling. Oversee engineering and maintenance activities with the Production, Quality and Maintenance teams.
- Supervise the Maintenance Department
- Oversee research and development of new products and operations
- Hire, train and mentor engineers and supporting staff
- Discuss project specifications
- Review, approve and modify product design
- Develop cost estimates for new projects and product designs
- Negotiate bids and research contract work
- Work on improving manufacturing processes
REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S. Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of relevant manufacturing and engineering experience or equivalent combination
- Significant management and supervisory experience is required
- Experience fulfilling cost, schedule and performance obligations
- Proven track record in developing and implementing improvement of processes and projects
- MS Office and AutoCAD proficiency required
