CTR Group is seeking a Field Service Technician - Power Generation in the Denver, CO area. This position requires up to 50%-65% travel throughout the entire US.

SUMMARY:
Field Service Technician will complete installation work for excitation systems. Seeking an experienced technician for wiring of new industrial excitation systems. The ideal candidate would be an electrician with trade or vocational training. Some industrial experience is required, utility or power plant experience helpful. Must have understanding of and ability to implement electrical, connection drawings, interconnection drawings and schematics.
Must be willing to learn about power generation and various types of steam, gas, diesel and hydro generator controls. Excellent opportunity for advancement.
REQUIREMENTS:
Electrician with trade or vocational training.
Some industrial experience is required
Utility/Power Plant experience would be helpful.
Experience with Navy controls systems, prime mover controls
Must have understanding and ability to implement electrical, connection drawings, interconnection drawings and schematics.
Must be willing to learn about power generation and various types of steam, gas, diesel, and hydro generator controls.
NERC regulatory compliance studies for generators would be helpful.
SCADA experience is a plus.
Travel nationally up to 50%-65% required
