Salary Range: $154,300 - $204,500 and Excellent Benefits

SUMMARY:
Our aerospace client is establishing a new operation in West Lafayette, IN, and seeking a Finance Site Controller to be part of their leadership team coordinating the completion of all plant accounting and financial reporting activities. The successful candidate develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control and will also conduct technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance analyzing and preparing recommendations for financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts. Beyond the daily operation of T7 manufacturing the Controller also will perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
- Controlling production costs and inventory management
- Building an efficient financial reporting structure
- Managing local, growing finance team
- Reporting financial status and performance
- Leading forecasting and budgeting processes
- Implementing and managing the company ERP-system
- Modeling Company core values: trust, drive, expertise and support
- Creating financial business plans for prospective new business models
- Other financial projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline is required. MBA desirable.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience with proven track record of success in leading mid to large functional and/or program organizations.
- Extensive knowledge of Production Control and Financial Control
- Experience setting up a financial structure in a company
- Knowledge and experience of ERP implementations and/or major upgrades
- Familiar with the manufacturing environment, preferably in Aerostructures
- Excellent communication and proven leadership skills
- Ability to work well independently, as well as collaboratively in a team setting
- Driven, innovative and takes initiative without being asked
- Accepting of new ideas and has the desire to continue learning
- Experience with government cost accounting
