Job Description

CTR Group is seeking a Head of Government Contracts. Immediate opening and urgently hiring!

A Fully Remote Position.

Salary: $200K plus Yearly Bonus
Outstanding Benefits include 401k, health, dental, vision, and profit sharing Plus year-end bonus

SUMMARY:
The Head of Government Contracts is responsible for the Company's Federal government contracts from proposal stage and contract modifications to assigning subcontractors. The overall role is to support the growth of the Company's Federal contract division and manage the contracts issued to subcontractors. The manufacturing company leads high-impact federal programs in advanced manufacturing, energy storage, etc.
The duties include the following:
  • Manage all aspects of Federal Contracts from scoping, execution, compliance, modifications and reporting to completion.
  • Handle the issuance and modifications to Federal subcontractor contracts.
  • Work together with Company's business development and sales teams to support new programs from pursuit to capture and contracting.
  • Ensure that risks to the Company's Federal contract division are minimized.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders, including customers, partners and affiliates.
  • Attend meetings to promote the Company's interests.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have at least 20 years of government contracts administration experience.
  • Experience with physical products or chemical-based products that are produced in advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Must be able to manage several projects in different stages of their life cycle.
  • Able to seek creative solutions to legal and business challenges involving government contracts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
  • Must be willing to work some extended hours to meet project timelines.
  • Must be able to travel 25-30% of the time.
  • US Citizenship required.  
  • Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
