Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment failures and extend machinery lifespan.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Test and inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Order and manage inventory of replacement parts and supplies.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve machinery performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance preferred.
- Experience in industrial machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using diagnostic tools.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations.
Work Environment
- Industrial setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and physical labor.
- Requires standing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
- May involve shift work and emergency repairs.
