CTR Group is seeking Inside Machinists for a Shipyard in Newport News, VA. 4 Positions available!
PAY RATE: up to $27.30 per hour +$120 Per Diem for non-local candidates.
2nd and 3rd Shift Positions
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of CNC experience in a metal fabrication / machine shop.
- Machinist or Tool & Die Apprenticeship
- Able to operate CNC lathes, mills, horizontal and vertical machining centers, EDMs, etc.
- Familiar with controllers such as Siemens, Fanuc, Cincinnati-Milacron, etc.
- Familiar using precision measurement instruments
- Ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Strong math skills
- Must be safety-conscious
- Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift
