Requirements:
- Good basic math skills (addition & subtraction)
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Mechanical skills OR aptitude
- Willingness and ability to complete basic production paperwork by hand (e.g., part number, quantity)
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs
- Capability to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, reach, and perform repetitive hand and finger movements
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures (hot or cold), with smoking allowed in most production areas
- Interest in learning a new skill
- Willingness to work in an environment where personal cell phone use is not permitted
Requirements for Higher Starting Wage:
- Experience using multiple power tools, such as impact drivers, rivnut guns, rivet guns, stud welders, grinders, and sanders
- Experience in light gauge sheet metal fabrication or machine shop work
- Ability to read a tape measure and/or use precision measuring tools
Potential Work Areas:
- Hardware installation (using CNC equipment or by hand)
- Metal finishing (Grind)
- Powder coating prep & line load/unload
- Powder coating application (must be able to pass respirator physical)
- Assembly
- Shipping (packaging, not driving)
- CNC Laser operation
- CNC Press Brake operation
- CNC Punch Press operation
Workers will likely be trained in multiple areas to determine the best fit. Please note that certain areas may not be suitable for individuals with specific conditions (e.g., asthma in grind area).
