CTR Group is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician in the Portsmouth, VA area. Immediate openings and urgently hiring!
PAY RATE: $17 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday Friday 8: 30 4: 30 with a half hour lunch break. No weekends and no on-call duties!

SUMMARY
Apartment community is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join their team in maintaining property. Fix minor plumbing such as unclogging drains, plunging toilets, and repairing leaky spigots and faucets. Perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls. Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, incl. Cleaning and lubrication. Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities. Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues. HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting. Change out dishwashers, toilets. Perform light caulking, painting, light drywall work. Report any maintenance problems, or safety hazards.

DESIRED SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:
- Prior Apartment Maintenance experience ideal
- HVAC experience required, EPA certification preferred
- Experience changing out dishwashers, toilets
- Experience with caulking, painting, and light drywall work
- Good Customer Service skills
- Good driving record (will be driving company vehicle to different properties)
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle to get to and from the property.
