Primary Responsibilities

The Non-Destructive Testing Technician will serve as an essential part of the Quality Assurance team. Offers support by executing the responsibility of performing non-destructive tests, determining product acceptability according to product specifications and requirements.

Perform visual (VT), dye-penetrant (PT), and magnetic particle (MT) tests on welds per drawing and contract requirement.

Prepare, file and maintain NDT as well as maintain weld joint history documents.

Read and verify drawings and specifications

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a NDT Level II
  • NDT Certifications in VT, MT, & PT
  • Ability to read blueprints and specifications
  • Previous weld inspection experience
  • Previous experience with Navy marine ships
