Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Select orders accurately using pick tickets and handheld devices, ensuring item numbers, quantities, and other details match the order.
- Operate RF scanners and other Warehouse Management System (WMS) tools to facilitate order picking.
- Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality.
- Stage small parcel orders and prepare pallets for freight shipping.
- Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment, reporting issues immediately.
- Assist in unloading goods and physical inventory as needed.
- Adhere to established processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and secure warehouse conditions.
- Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries, providing high-quality customer service.
- Perform additional tasks or special projects as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED or warehouse expereince.
- Previous warehouse experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient with WMS applications and hardware.
- Ability to operate a forklift, reach lift, baler, and RF scanner
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic math skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong “can do” attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand for extended periods and climb ladders to pull merchandise.
- Perform repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, and fingers.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with temperature variations based on weather.
- Noise levels are moderate due to machinery and equipment.
- Safety gear, such as vests and additional equipment, must be worn as needed.
