CTR Group is seeking several Pipefitter Helpers local to the Newport News, VA area. Immediate openings and urgently hiring!

Pay: $19
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:
- Should be able to perform pipe fit up (and braze would be a plus but not necessarily required)
- Clean brazed joints
- Understand how to fit up and tighten down hangars
- Possess basic tools required to accomplish the install.
- Read and interpret simple blueprints and handle minor piping installations.
- Know and understand tag out procedures for piping systems prior to working on these systems.
- Ability to thread piping and tap holes to proper sizes.
- Ability to bevel butt weld piping prior to fit up using grinders.
- Knowledge of various types of piping and fittings.
- Ability to properly fit flanged joints.
- Knowledge of hot work procedures and requirements.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
