Job Title: Project Management Analyst 2
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Management Analyst 2 to oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects, serving as the liaison between project management, planning, project teams, and line management. The ideal candidate will review project statuses, budgets, manage schedules, and prepare comprehensive status reports. They will play a key role in assessing project issues, developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all operational aspects of ongoing projects, ensuring alignment between project management and team members.
- Review project budgets, manage schedules, and prepare detailed status reports.
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and implement problem-solving techniques with project managers, line managers, and clients.
- Perform high-level cost estimating, project planning, risk analysis, and mitigation.
- Conduct engineering design reviews and approvals for heavy industrial buildings and waterfront/ship construction facilities.
- Support field engineering for design and construction, oversee proposal development, review financials, and track metrics and budgets.
- Ensure contractor compliance with safety and quality plans during construction planning, and manage start-up and commissioning activities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of experience or Master’s Degree with 1 year of experience. (4 years of related exempt experience or 8 years of non-related exempt experience can substitute for a Bachelor's degree).
- Experience: Project management experience, finance background, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite. Familiarity with project management software preferred but not required.
- Skills: Excellent multitasking abilities, strong financial acumen, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
