About the Role
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee flooring installation projects from receipt through completion. This is an office‑based role focused on coordination, scheduling, materials management, and ensuring projects stay on time and on budget. The Project Manager will work closely with Field Service Managers but will not supervise field employees directly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned flooring installation projects from initial receipt to final completion.
- Coordinate daily with Field Service Managers to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain project timelines.
- Track project budgets, material usage, and schedule milestones to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
- Order all materials, supplies, and equipment required for each project.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, updates, and communication with internal teams.
- Identify potential delays or material shortages and proactively implement solutions.
- Serve as the central point of contact for project status, changes, and coordination needs.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Project Manager in a flooring installation or similar construction/trades environment.
- Strong understanding of flooring materials, installation processes, and project workflows.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects.
- Strong communication skills and comfort coordinating with field teams and office staff.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, detail‑driven environment.
- Proficiency with project tracking tools, scheduling software, or construction management systems (preferred).
Work Environment
- Office‑based role with no direct field supervision responsibilities.
- Small company environment with close collaboration across operations and field teams.
- Standard schedule of 7 AM – 4 PM, Monday through Friday.
