Ensuring the Safety of Food Products Applying Proven FDA and HAACP Standards
Can You? Specific Accountabilities: 1. On-Line Monitoring and Data Collection a. Ensures adherence to the In-Process Inspection section of the Quality Manual. b. Checks products on-line against internal specifications. c. Completes finished product inspection against CFR50 sampling plan d. Notifies the responsible Production Supervisor immediately when products do not meet required specifications. e. Works with Production Supervisors to minimize the amount of product that is placed on hold. f. Properly completes all paperwork required for the on-line monitoring tasks being performed.
2. Sanitation Inspections a. Ensures adherence to the Sanitation section of the Quality Manual. b. Performs daily preoperational sanitation inspections and records results. c. Monitors general plant sanitation and Production Associate sanitation practices throughout the day. d. Performs ATP bioluminescent surface testing daily, more often when required. e. Performs environmental swabbing as required by HLF policy/procedure and/or customer requirements f. Properly completes all paperwork associated with sanitation inspections.
3. Gauge Control a. Checks scales each morning; and tags scales that are not working properly. b. Calibrates thermometers on daily basis c. Properly completes all paperwork associated with scale and control tasks.
4. General a. Assists in training of new Technicians for in process inspection auditing. b. Serves in the other functional areas of Quality Assurance, as required. c. Performs other duties as assigned in support of HLF Operations and QA program.
