CTR Group is seeking a QA Inspector for our client in the Pascagoula, MS area. Immediate openings and urgently hiring!

Pay: $29 for local candidates OR
$24.50 PLUS per diem for non-local candidates
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Examine materials and products for surface defects such as cracks, pits, or incomplete welds.
Compare products with parts lists or sample models to verify assembly completion.
Verify specified dimensions using appropriate inspection equipment.
Identify and document nonconforming parts or materials.
Conduct structural integrity tests, including water pressure testing for leaks or internal defects.
Test mechanisms for proper clearance and freedom of movement.
Assist Testing and Trials personnel with system testing and sea trials.
Perform construction photo documentation as required.
Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety, environmental, and quality system requirements.
Work in confined or enclosed spaces when necessary.
Work at elevated heights greater than 5 feet when required.
Wear and properly use respirators or other PPE when applicable.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager or Management.
Work overtime when required.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to inspect at least three of the following areas: welding, machining, painting/coating, piping, mechanical systems, and testing.
Ability to perform inspections beyond visual examination, including NDE methods such as radiographic film interpretation, liquid penetrant testing (PT), magnetic particle testing (MT), or ultrasonic thickness gauging (UT).
Ability to read and interpret codes, specifications, and advanced blueprints.
Ability to communicate clearly, work independently, and collaborate effectively with team members.
