CTR Group is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator - Naval Ship Repair for a Government Site in the Williamsburg, VA area.
Pay Range: $48.28 - $52.98 per Hour.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate degree from an accredited university or technical trade school (or an additional 3 years of equivalent experience as described below).
- 10 years of experience managing ISO-9001 (or equivalent) Quality Assurance Program.
- Knowledgeable in NAVSEA (Naval Sea Systems Command)
- AWS (American Welding Society) welding requirement a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor and inspect machining of parts, fabrication, and assembly of systems to meet specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor and inspect in-progress and completed maintenance on various system types to ensure compliance with maintenance requirements and procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of engineering drawing standard layouts and requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to review engineering drawings, Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs), maintenance and operating procedures, technical manuals, Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), and statements of work (SOW) for subcontractors performing fabrication or manufacturing of parts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and inspect projects conducted by outside vendors.
- Experience preparing Manufacture Process Inspection Documents/Testing Inspection Plan for the outside fabrication and assembly testing on items bought from outside vendors.
- Experience reviewing requisitions to ensure proper quality assurance requirements are included.
- Demonstrated ability to act independently under general guidelines and answer questions from the workforce on all quality related issues.
