What We Offer: • Weekly Pay – you receive a paycheck every week • Comprehensive Benefits Package • Safety First! **Location:** Yorktown, VA or Chesapeake, VA **Job Type:** Temp-to-Perm **Salary:** $15 - $28 per hour, depending on experience and certifications As a General Laborer, you will assist our lead Fire, Water, Mold, Contents, and Construction Restoration Technicians in various tasks related to disaster relief and restoration. Your role will involve manual labor, equipment handling, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will work in diverse settings, including confined spaces, and will be expected to perform physically demanding tasks. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist lead technicians with fire, water, mold, contents, and construction restoration tasks. - Perform manual labor tasks including lifting, packing out customer belongings, removing flooring, demolition, and restoration. - Use small hand tools and follow safety protocols. - Work comfortably in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces, and outdoors as needed. - Maintain a clean and professional appearance. - Provide strong customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members. **Requirements:** - Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and handle 25 pounds repetitively. - Experience with small hand tools is preferred. - Possess a valid Virginia Driver’s License - Strong customer service skills - No issues with teaching and learning new tasks. - Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with construction and demolition tasks. - Certifications such as IICRC for fire, water, and mold restoration. - Advanced tool experience and knowledge in construction and demolition. - Previous experience in a similar field is a plus.
