REQUIREMENTS:
- Physical ability to climb ladders, transit decks, and perform work on Navy vessels
- The exact weight requirements will be determined by the specific job, but no less than 30 lbs
- Self-starter with the ability to work well with others
- Knowledge of Navy ship compartmentation and lay-out
- Ability to read, understand, and validate a work notification and to determine the scope of work contained within the work notification
- Comprehensive writing and communication skills capable of both verbal and written findings and recommendations
- Some knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe programs including word processing
- Knowledge of Navy Structural, Mechanical, Piping, and Electrical systems
- Must be able to obtain a Passport, CAC and/or DBIDs pass
- Must have a current and valid Driver’s License
- Education: Individual shall possess a High school diploma or GED
- Candidate should have at least two (2) years of education in a technical/vocational school, apprentice training, U.S. Navy or equivalent
