CTR Group is seeking a Spiritual Growth Associate for a Health & Wellness Center, a Non-Profit Organization in the Virginia Beach, VA area. Immediate opening and urgently hiring! About 29 hours a week. A temp to hire for right person.
Pay Rate: $15.00 per Hour
32 - 40 Hours per Week.
SUMMARY:
The Spiritual Growth Associate will provide general office assistance and support to Spiritual Growth Outreach program. Respond to
Spiritual Growth Group (SGG) inquiries and requests; update/maintain SGG database, social network sites and discussion groups. Provide donor-relations assistance in support of efforts to increase fundamental donor/fundraising base.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent with business training or equivalent required.
- Minimum two year’s customer service and data entry experience required; and
- Minimum two years’ office experience working with Microsoft Office products and web-based applications required; experience with membership management software (Aptify) preferred.
- Current or previous experience participating in the Company's Spiritual Growth Group (SGG) required
- Knowledge of philosophy and acceptance of the key principles in the spiritual readings, particularly kindness, active patience and a service orientation is required.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel and web-based applications required.
- Working knowledge of membership management software programs (Aptify) preferred.
- Strong interpersonal/customer service skills – including the continuous demonstration of courtesy, friendliness, a positive outlook, patience, kindness, and cooperation with a service orientation.
- Excellent communication skills required, oral, written and listening, to exchange information with a variety of individuals.
- Requires strong skills in data entry, proofreading and data analysis.
- Strong time-management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines required.
- Strong interpersonal skills in problem solving, tact, diplomacy and objectivity required.
- Excellent organization skills and detail orientation, yet the ability to keep an eye on the bigger picture
- Demonstrated ability to keep confidential all Spiritual Growth and Company's related information, including donor, member, customer and staff information required.
- Good working knowledge of Company's resources and available services.
- Ability to work with direct supervision, with average level of independent judgment, permitting latitude for independent decision making with changing priorities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with the general public and co-workers – demonstrating patience, diplomacy, persistence, kindness, and clarity is required.
- Ability to motivate and provide a high level of service and display positive attitude toward helping others is required.
- Ability to maintain a strong customer focus with demonstrated enthusiasm/respect in working with people from diverse backgrounds is required.
- High degree of emotional intelligence and maturity – demonstrating adaptability, engagement, and enthusiasm.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule on occasion, including evenings and weekends.
- Current participation in The Company's Spiritual Growth Group (SGG) is required
- This position acts continuously as a representative of the Company as an organization; must project a positive image as reflected by the philosophy of the key principles in the spiritual readings
- Effective performance of this position is critical; position has a major effect on revenues and significant financial contribution to the organization.
