Job Summary: 

Performs a variety of accounting clerical duties involved in maintaining projects and grants records, reimbursements, reconciliations, verifying financial activity, and preparing periodic reports. Essential Job Functions: (Duties listed are not intended to be all inclusive nor to limit duties that might reasonably be assigned.) 

• Maintains and updates computerized project and grant records. 

• Enters invoice information to create project invoice proposals for reimbursements

•  Reviews invoices and payment records for reimbursements; makes sure the project postings match invoices; prepares support for reimbursements. 

• Reconciles expenses and project postings. 

• Enters data into projects and grants systems. 

• Verifies calculation of project expense information.

•  Tracks reimbursements to ensure timely payment and recording 

• Performs other duties as assigned. 

Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills essential to Job Functions: 

Basic knowledge of accounting methods and processes as they relate to revenue accounting. Practical knowledge of computerized accounting systems. Ability to enter data into accounting records accurately. Ability to review and consolidate large volumes of data into logical, consistent format
