CTR Group is seeking a Temporary Service Mechanic local to the Norfolk, VA area. Immediate openings and urgently hiring!

Pay: $20-$30 depending on experience

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

• Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment—including air compressors, fire pumps, metal shears, band saws, drill presses, and other production equipment—in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnoses mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues and performs appropriate repairs.
• Uses measuring instruments such as rules, calipers, and micrometers.
• Operates power tools, lathes, drill presses, band saws, grinders, and related equipment to support effective repairs.
• Performs general building maintenance and repairs, including work involving boilers.
• Experience with welding and burning.
