Pay:
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:
- Collaborate with QA Supervisors, Project Team members, Production Managers, Foremen, and Leads to support project testing and inspection activities.
- Review project work items to identify required tests, inspections, and checkpoints in accordance with applicable NAVSEA Standard Items.
- Obtain and analyze the Test & Inspection (T&I) Plan and any special government T&I requirements for each project.
- Develop, maintain, and update the Test & Trials Schedule and Tracking Matrix.
- Verify completion and documentation of all required tests and inspections.
- Review the CFR database to ensure all required reports and attachments are complete and submitted.
- Provide Work Completion Certification Report data and T&I status updates to the Test & WAF Manager.
- Ensure all required DFS submissions are completed and addressed.
- Support the project team in meeting milestones and government‑required testing deadlines.
- Prepare and deliver briefings to groups and individuals as needed.
- Demonstrated experience with propulsion plant systems, centralized control systems, diesel generators, and shipboard operations through sea trials, delivery, and guarantee periods.
- Strong skills in cost control, scheduling, planning, personnel coordination, quality assurance, and safety oversight.
- Experience working with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Effective leadership, communication, and team‑building abilities.
- Knowledge of production processes, methods, and technologies.
- Ability to obtain and maintain access credentials required for DoD Regional Contractor Badges and entry to U.S. Navy/USCG bases and Controlled Industrial Areas (requirements are based on federal regulations).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
