CTR Group is seeking several Warehouse Supervisors in Hampton Roads, VA. Immediate openings and urgently hiring!
Responsibilities:
Assist the Warehouse Operations Manager and Divisional Parts Managers in balancing the workload efficiently across all warehouse functions.
Implement and supervise standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
Ensure proper use of the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for transactions related to sales, purchase receipts, storage locations, shipping, and redistribution.
Train employees on the ERP system, material handling equipment (MHE), Liebherr products, and general warehouse operations.
Provide guidance and instructions to employees on all phases of warehouse operations.
Oversee and maintain the flow of inventory within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to shipping, stocking, and receiving.
Ensure accuracy and quality in all warehouse documents.
Track, monitor, and address error rates both individually and collectively, and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the department.
Supervise checks on incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy in piece counts and conditions, and document any discrepancies.
Promote a safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining 6S standards.
Coordinate with internal teams to meet customer deadlines and improve production methods, equipment performance, and overall product quality.
Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials as required.
