1st Shift Position: PAY RATE $30 per Hour Plus $150 Per Diem
Structural Welder B:
Experience:
5+ years’ work experience in welding.
- Must have current experience with flux core welding.
- Must have current experience with ceramic tape backing.
- Must successfully pass 1st class Skill Test.
Essential Functions:
- Knowledge and proficiency of heavy shipyard construction welding in all positions.
- Welding process includes:
o FCAW – Flux Core Arc Welding
- Knowledge, understanding and demonstration of interpreting approved Welding Procedure Specifications.
- Knowledge and ability on how to use all tools related to welding, including basic trouble shooting and maintaining welding equipment to assure a safe and efficient operation.
- Welder must proficiently demonstrate welding ability through performance and testing as determined by project.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
